What’s the relationship between the U of M Medical Foundation and PUCK?

The Minnesota Medical Foundation (the fundraising arm for the University of Minnesota Academic Health Center, Medical School, Masonic Cancer Center and University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital) coordinates all its major gift fundraising efforts to pediatric cancer research, education and treatment through the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. PUCK (Pioneering Unique Cures for Kids) is the fund within the Children’s Cancer Research Fund that is dedicated to groundbreaking research on rare diseases which affect children. Dr Paul Orchard, the Medical Director of the Inherited Metabolic and Storage Disease Bone Marrow Transplantation Program at the University of Minnesota, is conducting research our 5k race will support.
